Magnificent Owl on the fence,
what ails you so tonight?
Unsteady, perched upon the post
your strength to stand
wanes like moonlight.

Disheveled marble on the fence,
what stole your bliss tonight?
Callous, stoic upon the edge
your cruel past sways
your heart with spite.

Wounded mortal on the fence,
why so grieved tonight?
Stagnant, mourning your lost wings
shamefully clipped
to prevent your flight.

Hopeless beast on the fence,
what led you here tonight?
Ashamed, hiding in the dark,
awaiting death,
can't face the light.

Magnificent Owl, take my strentgh.
Let it keep you well
and enable you to escape this Hell
tonight.

Disheveled marble, accept my love.
Let it break your torpid heart
and give you a chance for a fresh start
